WEHRWOLFE Announce New Drummer
April 3, 2006Charlotte, North Carolina-based death metallers WEHRWOLFE have announced the addition of drummer Chris "Mordrid" Hathcock to the group's ranks. "[Chris] has been pummeling the local music scene in various bands such as REQUIEM, COTHURNUS, THE TORTURE CELL and even an acoustic solo project THE RETICENT," reads a posting on the group's web site. "He had come to an audition with three of our songs learned in a matter of days, he has a professional attitude and prowess that any band would appreciate. We will be spending the next couple of months getting ourselves ready to play some dates this spring/summer while still concentrating on our recording our follow-up disc."
WEHRWOLFE, who parted ways singer Nathan Ellis (who has since joined DAYLIGHT DIES) in early 2004, released their debut CD, "Godless We Stand", in August 2003 via Magick Records.
